Regional State of the Coral Triangle Report (SCTR) Workshop

The workshop aims to prepare the Regional SCTR and establish institutional mechanisms for its completion, sustained preparation, and utilization as a modality for monitoring and evaluation (M&E) for higher level objectives of the Coral Triangle Initiative (CTI).

The workshop is expected to produce the following outputs:

  1. convene the six SCTR focal points/national SCTR writers to provide inputs to the Regional SCTR;
  2. compile benchmark indicators on the status of coral reefs, fisheries, and food security per country and consolidate for a regional CTI summary based on a suggested listing provided by the RETA;
  3. establish institutional partnerships to continue the Regional SCTR process; and
  4. provide feedback on regional actions required to achieve the higher level outcomes of the CTI.
