ADB/WWF launched the Coral Triangle book, a 272-page book that showcases the people, places, and marine ecosystems in the region. Dr. Suseno Sukoyono, Executive Chair of the CTI-CFF Regional Secretariat, introduced the parent portal of the CTI (http://coraltriangleinitiative.org/drupal/). It will  provide a home for CTI news, information, resources, online collaboration,  and serve as a gateway for the family of websites and portals supporting the CTI.

"The site will have its hard launch in November of this year.  We will then allocate a six-month period of website use during which we will actively solicit suggestions from the CT6 and CTI stakeholders, particularly on the functionalities of the site. By May 2012, we hope to have the 2.0 version of the website up and running," said Dr. Sukoyono.

Meanwhile, Minister John Moffat Fugui of the Ministry of Environment, Climate Change, Disaster Management, and Meteorology of Solomon Islands presented ADB’s Coral Triangle Learning Resource Network (CTI-LRN) - http://www.coraltriangleinitiative.net/. CT-LRN serves as a knowledge hub that promotes collective learning and knowledge exchange in the CTI.  It provides resources on knowledge management, payment for ecosystem services, sustainable financing, decision support systems, and the State of the Coral Triangle Report.  It also has links to CTI sites of the NCCs, as well as connects users to knowledge resources on the CTI and the GEF IW learning community.
