Asian Development Bank 
Based in Manila, the Asian Development Bank is a multilateral finance institution that promotes economic and social progress in the Asia-Pacific region. Click here to read ADB's support to the CTI.

Together with GEF, the Bank is funding the Regional Cooperation on Knowledge Management, Policy, and Institutional Support to the Coral Triangle Initiative (RETA 7307). Click here to read about the Technical Assistance report.

The Global Environment Facility (GEF)
The GEF CTI Program aims at supporting the participating countries through enabling and demonstration activities, particularly during the initial stage of the CTI. Through twelve sub-projects implemented by four GEF agencies -- ADB, FAO, UNDP, and the World Bank -- the program will contribute to the achievement of the five goals of the Regional Plan of Action.

The Regional Cooperation and Integration Fund under the Regional Cooperation and Integration Financing Partnership Facility and GEF is co-financing RETA 7307.

International Waters Learning Exchange and Resource Network (IW:LEARN)

IW:LEARN is under GEF and it aims to strengthen Transboundary Waters Management (TWM) by facilitating portfolio learning and information management amongst GEF IW projects and partners. IW:LEARN also supports dialogue facilitation, targeted knowledge sharing and replication to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of GEF IW projects to deliver tangible results in partnership with other IW initiatives.

Government of Australia

The Australian Government has committed to a phased multi-year program of support to the CTI that will evolve and respond as the Initiative grows. The current first stage of support, being implemented from 2010, reflects the still nascent state of the CTI as a regional forum, and of Australia’s support program. Support during this first phase is focused on building foundations and momentum for the CTI, and for subsequent phases of Australian Government support.
